"The crew made this cruise absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the Exploration Leader’s sense of humor, and the staff all were going out of their way to help and please us."

An Epic Alaskan Voyage
On this cruise, you’ll delight in a day of exploration in
Glacier Bay’s wildlife rich fjords, with expert narration provided by a National Park
Service Ranger. You will also navigate toward the end of Tracy Arm,
where the twin Sawyer Glaciers pour from the mountains to the sea. We
generally cruise close to the shore, to seek puffins in Glacier Bay, seals
and sea otters in the Kenai Fjords and bears feeding along the shoreline of
Admiralty Island. From the Norwegian fishing village of Petersburg to
whale-filled Frederick Sound, from the open waters of the Gulf of Alaska
to the mountainous coast of the Kenai Peninsula, your Coastal
Odyssey brings you an extravagant vision of Alaska’s most spectacular
natural wonders.

RARE PORTS OF CALL
Small ships are perfect for exploring out-of-the-way waterways, and on
your Coastal Odyssey you will visit ports that other cruise lines never visit – and in some cases,
can’t
visit. Start with the convenience of embarking or disembarking right at the port of Anchorage – Few other cruise lines travel all the way to the port of Anchorage. Near the southern tip of
the Kenai Peninsula, you’ll explore the art galleries of Homer and beach-comb along Homer Spit.
In Southeast Alaska, the fishing village of Petersburg welcomes you with a performance by the Norwegian Leikarring Dancers. In Sitka, admire the dozens of gold and silver Russian icons in St. Michael’s Orthodox Cathedral.
You will also explore Juneau’s historic downtown, immediately backed by towering mountains.
In British Columbia, Prince Rupert at the mouth of the Skeena River has been home to a substantial Native community since time immemorial. At the southernmost point of our route, we tie up at the inner harbor of the spectacular seaport of Vancouver.
