You have leisure time, dinner, and visit the Alma Ata Archaeological Park for insight into Costa Rica's indigenous history. You'll then overnight in Centro Neotr6pico SarapiqufS. BLDDAY 10 HACIENDA POZO AZUL Today you will have the opportunity to select two activities at Hacienda Pozo Azul from horseback riding, a treetop canopy ride, river rafting, a float trip, a dairy farm and butterfly garden visit, or hiking. Overnight in Centro Neotr6pico SarapiqufS. BLDDAY 11 POAS VOLCANO AND LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENS Continue to Poils Volcano National Park, surrounded by lush vegetation, then to La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Explore the Butterfly Garden and Hummingbird Gallery. You'll overnight in Arena!. BLDDAY 12 ARENAL VOLCANO AND HOT SPRINGS Have leisure time before you depart for a tour of the Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs. The classically conical shape of the volcano dominates the plains of San Carlos, rumbling and emitting occasional puffs of smoke. Visit the local hot springs for a swim followed by dinner at Mirador Kioro. Overnight in Arena!. BLDDAY 13 TRANSFER TO THE SAN JOSE AIRPORT for your return flight home. B |

Up-close Encounters With Nature In Costa Rica, you can see monkeys in their natural habitat, tiny poison dart frogs along a trail, large blue butterflies too beautiful to believe.
